My Everyday Make-Up

So we all have piles of make-up, lots of which is lucky if it's been used in the last year. I recently condensed my make up collection to my essentials and here is the list of my go-to everyday products which I slap on my face.

Moisturiser - I've been having the driest skin ever the last month (i blame the weather), so I have been trying out loads of different moisturisers. My favourite at the moment is Lush's 'Gorgeous' moisturiser. It is pretty light and sinks into the skin well which makes it easy to apply my make up on top of.

Foundation - I have never been one to stick to one foundation and I have tried a fair few over the years. My current foundation, Dior Star, was recommended to me by a friend. It's pretty good coverage and blends well however it is coming to the end of the bottle and not sure if I will repurchase as it's on the pricier side and it isn't my favourite. I'm also a big fan of MAC face and body.

Concealer - Rimmel's Wake Me Up concealer is the newest addition to my make up bag. I purchased this after seeing countless bloggers and youtubers rave about it so I thought I would give it a try. Pre this concealer I swore by the Collection concealer which is a bargain at around £4.

Brows - Benefit's Gimme Brow in medium is my go to brow saviour, the colour is perfect for me and the mixture of the shadow and the wax is a really good formula for keeping your brows in place all day.

Contour - Sleek's contour palette is a must for any contour-newbie like myself. The matte bronzer is perfect for contouring and it also comes with a highligher shade and a shimmery bronzer as well. Pretty good value as well, under £10.

Bronzer - Soleil Tan De Chanel is the perfect bronze to give your skin that sun-kissed look even in winter, the creamy texture makes it easy to apply and blend (I use the real techniques stippling brush to apply).

Highlighter - Mary-Lou Manizer by theBalm cosmetics is a product which I had on my wish-list for months. I received it as a gift at Christmas and I LOVE it. I've tried quite a few high-street highlighters and haven't been impressed with the pigmentation in any of them until now. Highly recommend this product and it isn't even that pricey!

Eyeliner - Anyone who knows me will know that liquid eyeliner is one of my best friends. You will very rarely see me without my flicks, unless I am a) hungover or b) too tired to bother. I have used Rimmel's Glam Eyes liquid eyeliner for years and I cannot fault it, easy to apply and lasts pretty much all day without budging.

Mascara - Again, I'm not a mascara loyal, I will mix and match and try different brands. I recently picked up the Make Up Forever Smoky Extravagant and I'm liking it, adds volume and length and also comes off pretty easily! My biggest pet peeve is mascara which sticks to your lashes no matter how hard you try to get it off (I had this issue with Benefits 'they're real').

Lipstick - I am a typical white gal and have to say  I really only stick to MAC lipsticks, I just find their formula the best along with their colours. I love a dark lip however my two go to colours for everyday at the moment are Honeylove and Stone.

Eyeshadow - I'm not an everyday eyeshadow wearer but when I try my hand at it, I always go to my Naked palettes, however I must admit the first one is my favourite (mine is so grotty that I used my Naked 3 for photo purposes hehe).

Brushes - real techniques, all of them bar my benefit brow brush, cannot fault the real techniques brushes, much better value than other brands such as Mac in my eyes.

Overall I'm a bit of a mix-and-matchy make-up buyer, mostly high street with some high-end products chucked in there. At the moment i'm pretty happy with my everyday make-up routine and products.

P.S. please bear with me whilst I get to grips with my camera and getting better quality images
